Get Involved

ROAR is volunteer-powered and community-driven. Through partnerships at the neighborhood level, we co-create public programming at each site, ranging from weekly barbecues to working with kids in a local P-Patch. Every neighborhood is unique, providing opportunities for all kinds of volunteers. Some of the ways you can help:

  • Gardening education and maintenance at the Collaboratory Community Garden
  • Help staff the farm stand in your neighborhood
  • Share your favorite recipe with a culinary demonstration
  • Hospitality – grill at a weekly BBQ
  • Hands-on Art – organize kid-friendly activities at a monthly celebration
  • Offer Dance or Musical Performance for a farm stand event
  • Support promotions and social media
