ROAR will offer a scaled-back operation for 2019, with weekly farm stands at two locations. Our season runs June 20-October 31. Click the location links below to connect via Google Maps.

 

Wednesdays @ Meridian Center for Health in Northgate/Lake City 1-4pm – LAST DAY OCTOBER 30

The following are not ROAR markets, but offer similar opportunities in other neighborhoods — please support grassroots organizations, neighborhood youth, and farmers of color and shop these other farm stands throughout the week!

 

Rainier Beach Farm Stand – Saturdays 10am-2pm – Through Sept. 28

Rainier Ave S & S Rose St at the Ethiopian Community in Seattle

In partnership with ECSRainier Beach Action Coalition and King Conservation District, this farm stand brings a similar selection of fruits & veggies from local POC farmers, with weekly arts & cultural programming, cooking demonstrations, and other neighborhood vendors. Neighborhood youth run the daily operations, gaining vocational skills and developing leadership in the local food economy.

 

Wednesday & Friday @ Harborview Medical Center – 11am-2pm – Through Oct. 25

Saturday @ Walgreens, 23rd & Jackson – 11am-2pm – Through Dec. 15

Clean Greens Farm & Market sells organic, locally-grown vegetables from their Duvall farm at Harborview Medical Center, 325 9th Ave, through the summer and fall. They’re also at the Central District Walgreens at 2400 S. Jackson through December 15. Fresh Bucks & EBT accepted.

 

Wednesdays in High Point 4-7pm – P-Patch Market Garden Farm Stand – Through Oct. 2

Fridays in New Holly 4-7pm – P-Patch Market Garden Farm Stand – Through Sept. 27

Department of Neighborhoods P-Patch Program hosts two farm stands, offering produce grown on-site by residents of these SHA communities. Impressive selection and quality, plus fabulous bouquets, all at bargain prices.

Wednesday – High Point Juneau P-Patch, 32nd Ave SW & SW Juneau St

Friday – New Holly Rockery Community Garden, S. Holly Park Drive & 40th Ave S.
